Unlike many competitors' models, the external material is 900D canvas. This is two to three times thicker than the average grow tent on the market today. The interior of the tent is 100% reflective mylar, ensuring that light shines on your plants alone, and will not escape from the confines of the tent. Both the interior mylar and exterior canvas materials are 100% non-toxic, and will not react from either heat or light produced in the tent. No poisonous off-gassing will occur to harm your precious plants. The high quality canvas construction is especially noticeable at the zipper seams. A canvas overlay covers all zippers to prevent light escaping from, or leaking into the tent. The zippers themselves are designed for a high usage environment. Ventilation comes in the form of two 6" Velcro ports. Use one or both, they accept standard 6" duct work in a pass through configuration or by attaching our optional flange system. Simply attach your fans, filters, or ductwork to these ports to create airflow into or out from your tent. Ventilation ports are located near the top of the tent walls to optimize movement of hot air out of the growing area. Access for irrigation or electric comes by two 4" Velcro ports located at the base of the tent. Storage pockets are standard in all tent sizes for easy access to ph meters, log books, or other equipment you need to keep within easy reach. The removable waterproof floor has 6" walls, allowing for protection from spills and easy cleanup. The tent frame is power coated metal, which creates a lightweight but very strong support structure. Reinforced hanging supports give you the freedom and flexibility to suspend light and ventilation equipment from anywhere on the tent ceiling
